PUBLIC NOTICE

COUNCIL’S DRAFT ANNUAL BUSINESS PLAN 2018/2019 AVAILABLE FOR COMMENT

Council has prepared a Draft Annual Business Plan for consultation in accordance with Section 123 of the Local Government Act 1999.

The Draft Annual Business Plan for 2018/2019 has been prepared to ensure consistency with Council’s Vision and meets the long term objectives for the City as set out in Council’s Strategic Directions Plan and other corporate documents.  The proposed Annual Business Plan will enable current priorities to be addressed and support the continued sustainable growth of our City.   

Council invites community comment on the Draft Annual Business Plan from Thursday 19 April to Friday 25 May 2018 before Council adopts a final Annual Business Plan and Budget for 2018/2019.

A copy of the Draft Annual Business Plan is available for reading without charge during ordinary office hours at Council’s Administration office, located at Level One, Civic Centre, 60 Tasman Terrace, Port Lincoln, Port Lincoln Library, 2 London Street, Port Lincoln and on Council’s website www.portlincoln.sa.gov.au/draftabp2018.  A hard copy of the Draft Plan can be purchased at the Council office for a cost of $6.00 or downloaded free from Council’s website.   

Comments on the Draft Plan can be provided by completing the online survey at www.portlincoln.com.au/draftabp2018 or a hardcopy survey available at the above-mentioned locations or by written submission.

Written submissions should be labelled “Submission – Draft Annual Business Plan 2018/2019 and may be lodged with Council by email to plcc@plcc.sa.gov.au, by post, addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, City of Port Lincoln, PO Box 1787, Port Lincoln, or delivered to the Council Administration Office at Level One, Civic Centre, 60 Tasman Terrace, Port Lincoln.

All submissions need to be received by 5pm on Friday 25 May 2018.

Members of the community are invited to attend the Council meeting to be held on Monday 21 May 2018 at 7.30pm in the Council Chambers, where there will be opportunity for members of the public to make a submission or ask questions in relation to the Draft Annual Business Plan.
