Mobile Food Vendors

City of Port Lincoln has adopted a new Mobile Food Vendor Location Rules Policy (April 2018) enabling mobile food vendors to apply for a permit to operate a business on a public road within the Council boundary.  

Sixteen sites have been identified and assessed as being suitable for mobile food vendors to trade.

A mobile food vending business will need to apply to Council for a permit under Section 222 of the Local Government Act 1999, with the option to apply for a one or twelve month period.

1 Month Permit - $100

12 Month Permit - $1,000
