Skate Park Upgrade Concept Plan - Public Consultation

Skate Park Upgrade Concept Plan - Public Consultation

The City of Port Lincoln and skate park design and construction company CONVIC developed a draft concept plan for the proposed Port Lincoln Skate Park Upgrade.  The draft concept plan was based on information received from community and stakeholder workshops held in January.

The public consultation period closed 9am Monday 12 June 2017.  Council will consider the feedback received before finalising the final concept design.

At the conclusion of the consultation period fourteen (14) written responses were received from the community and three people attended the workshop held at 6pm at the Port Lincoln Council Chambers.  In summary of the responses a few minor changes will be made to the concept plan, with the majority to remain the same.

Skate Park users and members of the community were invited to provide comment on the draft concept plan from 15 May 2017 to Monday 12 June 2017.  The plans and an associated questionnaire were available to download from Council's website and hardcopies were available at the Council Office, Level One, Civic Centre, 60 Tasman Terrace and Port Lincoln Library, 2 London Street, Port Lincoln.

Council held two workshop sessions at the Port Lincoln Council Chambers, Level One, Civic Centre, 60 Tasman Terrace, Port Lincoln on Thursday 1 June at 4pm and 6pm for skate park users and interested members of the community to provide comment and feedback on the Port Lincoln Skate Park draft concept design, for consideration in the final concept design.
